 Hey hockey fans! What a season the Oakridge Major Novice FC “B” team has had!!! Finishing their season 23-4-3 with the FCHL League Championship title they headed into the play-offs.
After receiving a bye in the first round they took it to South/SouthEast 2 straight with 2 shutouts! 3-0 and 1-0. Then they were set to face the very much improved West London Hawks for the playoff finals. The first game was definitely a battle on the Olympic size ice at Western Fair but the Oakridge Aeros were victorious in game 1 with a score of 3-1. There was no looking back for these 15 fantastic hockey players as they took West in game 2, 3-0.! City playoff champs outscoring the competition 10-1 in the playoffs is no easy task! Now we are off to the Alliance championships in Hamilton for april 11-13 where we plan to show some
Oakridge Aeros grit and determination in the steel city!!!!!
