The Oakridge FC1 Minor Peewee team finished first overall for the season. The boys had their work cut out for them each game but their hard work and determination paid off with a first place finish in the league and a trip to the Alliance Tournament in Hamilton.
In the playoffs the boys knocked off SouthSouth East 3-1 and North 3- 1 to win the
playoff championship.
The team received banners for finishing first overall in the league and for winning the playoffs.
This team was also very successful in tournaments winning three. They were first place in the Clarkson tournament, Burlington tournament and the Niagara Falls tournament.
As you can see, the efforts in both practices and games by this team resulted in an outstanding season.
As the head coach I am very, very proud of the accomplishments of this group of young men.
I would like to congratulate each player and the coaching staff for a remarkable season.
